THE AUTHOR

The author and her husband were both fully employed while providing caregiver support in their home. Darla was teaching at a local community college and Frank owned an insurance agency. Juggling between work and caregiving provided additional challenges and also opportunities to interact with family, friends, and professional caregivers throughout their journey.

This memoir speaks directly to caregivers, families, and anyone walking alongside a loved one with dementia.
